Applications are invited for undergraduate scholarships available to the students of UK. Around 10 scholarships are available for the applicants from a low-socio economic background. The amount of the scholarship will be in the form of a £5,000 fee waiver and £1,000 taken as either (a) an additional fee waiver or (b) discount on the cost of on-campus accommodation or (c) a cash award, each year for a maximum of three years. Applicants applying for the scholarship must have submitted a completed scholarship application by 31 July 2014.

Eligibility: Scholarships will be allocated in early September, following publication of UK A-level examination results, starting with those applicants who have achieved the greatest number of tariff points above 360 (excluding Key Skills), who have made Brunel University their firm choice through UCAS and who also meet the following criteria:
-must attend a maintained school or college (not an independent or private school) in Brent, Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Harrow, Hillingdon or Hounslow
-must meet at least one of the following underrepresented criteria:
1. be care leaver
2. be from a low participation neighbourhood
3. be a mature student (21 or over at the start of their course)
4. have an assessed low household income
5. have a disability (including dyslexia)
6. be from a low-socio economic background
7. have parents who do not have a higher education qualification

Scholarship Open for International Students: UK students can apply for these undergraduate scholarships.
