University of the Arts London is funding bursary for MA Journalism course. Bursary is available to students accepted on a MA Journalism course at London College of Communication. The bursary will be assessed on the basis of financial need and academic merit. The bursary is valued at £4000 and will provide a contribution towards tuition fees. Eligibility:-To be eligible for the Financial Times Bursary applicants must be:
- UK or E.U. resident or citizen. Assessed for Home/E.U fee purposes.
- Accepted for a full-time Masters Degree in Journalism (Print / Online Pathway or Television Pathway at London College of Communication, commencing September 2013
AND -An undergraduate student expecting to graduate with a first or 2:1 in a Bachelors Degree (with Honors’) from a Higher Education institution, or an HE accredited Further Education institution by 31st July 2013.
OR â€" A graduate, having already gained a first or 2:1 in a Bachelors Degree from a Higher Education institution, or an HE accredited Further Education institution.
OR (for applicants without a bachelor’s degree)
- Able to demonstrate substantial equivalent and applicable experience.
AND â€" Be able to demonstrate sufficient financial need.

Scholarship Open for Students of Following Countries: UK/EU (Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Serbia and Montenegro, Slovakia (Slovak Republic), Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, Vatican City) students are eligible for this Bursary.

Scholarship Description: University of the Arts LondonThe Financial Times Bursary is available to students accepted on a MA Journalism course at London College of Communication. The bursary will be assessed on the basis of financial need and academic merit. The bursary is valued at £4000 and will provide a contribution towards tuition fees. Applications are encouraged from students who are UK or E.U. residents or citizens who will benefit from postgraduate studies to realize their full potential and who are in financial hardship.

Selection Criteria: Student’s application will be initially assessed by University of the Arts London Student Funding Service based on the financial information supplied in your application and ranked according to financial need. Further evidence may be requested at a later date. Applications short listed as a result of the above process will then be forwarded onto a selection panel at the College who will make the final decision by ascertaining the academic potential of each application.

Notification: All applicants will be informed of the final decision in writing by end of August 2013. A letter will be sent to the correspondence address on the application form. You must inform us in writing if your address changes, so that we can contact you at the correct address.

How to Apply: The mode of applying is by post.
