Center for Energy Resources Engineering, Technical University of Denmark (CERE DTU) offers PhD scholarship in Compositional Reservoir Simulation Involving Complex Phase Equilibria. The scholarships for the PhD degree are subject to academic approval, and the candidates will be enrolled at Department of Chemistry at DTU. Eligibility: The candidates should have a master’s degree preferentially in chemical engineering, chemistry, petroleum engineering, or applied mathematics or a similar degree with an academic level equivalent to the master’s degree. The candidate is expected to have good knowledge of applied thermodynamics, competences in development of mathematic models, and skills in programming.

Scholarship Description: Center for Energy Resources Engineering at DTU is funding PhD scholarship in Compositional Reservoir Simulation Involving Complex Phase Equilibria. One PhD scholarship is awarded for three years. The project which is sponsored by international oil companies, deals with the accuracy of thermodynamic models, and reliability and efficiency of phase equilibrium calculation algorithms in compositional reservoir simulations involving complex phase equilibria.
