Eligibility: -In order to be considered for the position applicants must have research qualifications at least corresponding to what can be achieved as part of a successfully completed PhD within a relevant field.
-The applicant should have considerable programming experience, as well as a strong background in ML (preferably unsupervised, semi-supervised or transfer learning) or statistical NLP. Applicants that can document experience in both fields are preferred.
-The postdoctoral researcher is expected to publish at the top international conferences or in the best journals in the field (including both NLP and ML), and previous publications in these venues will be emphasized when evaluating applications.

The postdoctoral position is available within the 5-year European Research Council Starting Grant project Parsing Low-Resource Languages and Domains (LOWLANDS) led by Associate Professor Anders Søgaard.
