Daewoo Corporation offers scholarship for graduate students (Master’s or doctoral) to pursue advanced degrees at George Washington University. Students of Vietnam can apply for the scholarship. Scholarship of up to $10,000 (fees excluded) for the period of one academic year will be awarded. Renewal applications may be submitted to renew the Scholarship for one to four additional years, depending upon the program of study. The application deadline is 7 March 2014.

Eligibility: All recipients must be full-time Master’s or doctoral students (applicants or current students) and demonstrate high scholastic achievement by maintaining required academic averages for their programs of studies. Eligible fields of study include accountancy, finance, information systems, international business, supply chain management, marketing, and science technology and innovation. Incoming students must have passed the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum score of 600 on the paper-based exam or 100 on the internet based exam or an IELTS overall band score of 7.0 (with no individual band below 6.0). To ensure that recipients return to Vietnam and contribute to the further development of their nation’s growth following the receipt of their degree, a J-1 visa is required.
